King Henry VIII
Before he became the rotund, belligerent king of his twilight years, young King Henry VIII was a stylish youth deeply interested in the arts, education, sport, and was a devout Catholic called a Defender of the Faith by Pope Leo X. As the second son of Henry VII, he was never expected to become king, but when he did, he did so with lavish excess and cultivated an image of a Renaissance man. Henry VIII's obsession with producing a male heir (partly his own vanity, and partly a desire to avoid another War of the Roses) is what led to the two things he is widely known for: the English Reformation and his six wives.
Check out our Anne Boleyn perfume to complete the set. Note: Peru Balsam is a thick resin and leaves reddish flecks that settle. This is normal and nothing needs to be done but you can shake it if you like.
*Belladonna, also known as Deadly Nightshade, is a poisonous plant and as such I use a fragrance oil for safety reasons*
Please note that the Peru Balsam in this perfume separates so don’t be alarmed if it settles or you see chunks

None of my fragrances or balms should ever be ingested. Keep out of reach of children and animals, and if you are pregnant it’s not a good idea to use essential oils. Additionally, essential/fragrance oils are very potent and can cause allergies or rashes. Always test a fragrance (mine or anyone else’s) on a small patch of skin to make sure that it won’t bother you. Ingredients are listed in each product listing, if you have a known allergy to one of the ingredients do not buy. If you have a reaction to this product, discontinue use immediately and seek medical attention (if serious). Please also let me know if you have a reaction so that I may note it for my record keeping.
