All artisan perfume blends are original recipes made from a mix of jojoba, essential, and fragrance oils. None of the oils used in this shop are derived from animals. Every bottle is handmade by JT in her Seattle studio.

Hello and thanks for stopping by! Immortal Perfumes® is a one-woman operation. That means it’s me you’re talking to in email and me that is making your perfume, packing it up, and hoping that you love it! Apart from Immortal Perfumes, I podcast, and write novels and short stories. I am a breast cancer survivor (Stage 2, please reach out if you need advice or help!) and I live in Seattle with my husband, tween, and evil cat. It’s nice to (virtually) meet you!

Hi there! I’m Jen, the owner and perfumer of Immortal Perfumes. Creating scents inspired by history, literature, and the mysterious is my passion, and I’m grateful to share that with you. As a business owner, I also think it’s important to be clear about where I stand on issues that matter. So, here’s what Immortal Perfumes is all about:
1. Creativity & Passion
Perfume is art, and art is meant to be joyful, thought-provoking, and fun. At Immortal Perfumes, I’m dedicated to making fragrances that spark your imagination and keep things a little mysterious and magical.
2. Inclusivity & Respect
Everyone is welcome here. Period. Immortal Perfumes celebrates all identities, and I strive to create an environment where everyone feels respected and valued, whether you’re in the LGTBQA+ community, exploring your own path, or just here for the love of fragrance.
3. Progressive Values
I live in Seattle, so you can probably guess where I stand on a lot of things and you’d be right. We’re in an era now where people want to know the values of the people and businesses they support, and I totally get that. So, hear it from me:
-Healthcare is a human right. I’m a stage 2A breast cancer survivor, and I know firsthand how scary it is to walk hand in hand with illness.
-Women, and women alone, have the right to choose their own destiny and what happens to their bodies.
I also want to quote the immortal words of Third Eye Blind when they trolled the RNC convention in 2016 (I still think about this and laugh to this day):
--Science is science.
--Coal is not clean.
--Black Lives Matter.
--LGBTQIA+ = equal.
--Separation of church and state (still a good idea).
In other words, I operate with a “do no harm, mind my own business” mindset while supporting the rights of others to do the same. You don’t have to agree with me or my opinions but bigotry is a not a difference of opinion and I reject it in all forms.
4. Environmental Responsibility
Our planet deserves care, too. I strive to do no harm by making environmentally responsible choices in sourcing, packaging, and production. Sustainability is a journey, and I’m committed to making thoughtful decisions that minimize my environmental impact.
5. Authenticity & Expertise
Perfume history and lore are my jam, and I promise to stick to what I know best. When I share content, you can trust it’s well-researched and genuine. If it’s outside my realm of expertise, I’ll step back and amplify those who know more.
6. Mental Health & Balance
I’ve struggled with Generalized Anxiety Disorder my entire adult life and I know firsthand that the world can feel overwhelming. My approach is to balance advocacy with self-care and the work I love. I believe in supporting justice while also nurturing our well-being, and I encourage you to do the same.
7. Amplifying Voices
When I stay in my lane, it’s not from indifference. It’s because I believe that lifting up the right voices is more meaningful. Where possible, I share platforms and resources from those directly impacted by important issues.
8. Continuous Improvement
Nobody’s perfect (not even my perfumes, though I try!). I’m committed to learning, growing, and improving, whether that’s in my craft or in how I support our community. Your feedback is always welcome!
