Pride and Prejudice

'They gradually ascended for half a mile, and then found themselves at the top of a considerable eminence, where the wood ceased, and the eye was instantly caught by Pemberley House, situated on the opposite side of a valley, into which the road with some abruptness wound. It was a large, handsome, stone building, standing well on rising ground, and backed by a ridge of high woody hills;—and in front, a stream of some natural importance was swelled into greater, but without any artificial appearance. Its banks were neither formal, nor falsely adorned. Elizabeth was delighted. She had never seen a place where nature had done more, or where natural beauty had been so little counteracted by an awkward taste. They were all of them warm in her admiration; and at that moment she felt that to be mistress of Pemberley might be something." - Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

Perfume Inspiration

Inspired by Mr. Darcy's estate in Pride and Prejudice, Pemberley perfume oil is a garden lover's dream. The real inspiration for Pemberley is believed to be Chatsworth House in Derbyshire (you can still visit!) and the ingredients found in this perfume are all featured in the gardens of the estate. Dab some Pemberley on your wrist, lock arms with your lover, and take a turn about the garden. Remember the power of first impressions.

Special Note: This perfume is floral with deep, earthy undertones.

None of my fragrances or balms should ever be ingested. Keep out of reach of children and animals, and if you are pregnant it’s not a good idea to use essential oils. Additionally, essential/fragrance oils are very potent and can cause allergies or rashes. Always test a fragrance (mine or anyone else’s) on a small patch of skin to make sure that it won’t bother you. Ingredients are listed in each product listing, if you have a known allergy to one of the ingredients do not buy. If you have a reaction to this product, discontinue use immediately and seek medical attention (if serious).
