Queen of the Night

The first fragrance in the new Coquettes & Courtesans collection by Immortal Perfumes. Arriving in January 2025 in both perfume oil and Eau de Parfum formats.

Top Notes: Almond, Strawberry Macaron, Honey

Heart Notes: Violet, Osmanthus, Cherry Blossom

Base Notes: Tobacco, Leather, Tonka Bean, Whiskey

Perfumer’s note: I personally like heavy tobacco and leather perfumes but also love very sweet dessert-like fragrances. I’ve been having to layer perfumes to achieve this effect. Queen of the Night is my first gourmand perfume and was formulated specifically to fulfill my desire for a gourmand with a dark, lady of the night bite.

This photo is of Countess Castiglione. I’ve been using a pill case featuring this photo of her for about 10 years and it has always intrigued me. I’ll be creating videos, podcast episodes, and blog posts about her life as a mistress to Napoleon III as well as her work in the early history of photography - stay tuned for more updates!
