FREE THE NOSE is a series of olfactory discovery events that center the voices of creators, artists, and historians who work in the realm of olfactive art and perfume. Free from the influence of corporate marketing, FREE THE NOSE aims to create a space where scent and perfume can be discussed, experienced, and shared in honest and educational - yet subversive - settings.

For our first event, FREE THE NOSE is starting from the beginning - the start of the modern era of perfumery. That’s why we invited two of the industry’s most talented creators and passionate perfume historians: Barbara Herman (founder and creative director of ERIS Parfums; author of Scent & Subversion: Decoding a century of Provocative Perfume) and JT Siems (founder and Potion Master at Immortal perfumes; host of Storical podcast).

We also invite you to experience 32 of the most iconic and influential perfumes of the modern era in our perfume gallery, participate in a perfume swap (limit 10 items per person, please) and enjoy shopping Eris and Immortal perfumes while sipping on cocktails and vibing out to soundscapes curated by Jason Eckelman.

Not enough? Each attendee will also receive a groovy tote bag and a hand-printed zine with info on the presenters and a guide to the perfume gallery. Oh, and there may be some coupons and a raffle. NBD.
